Disney and Star Wars fans got a special treat this past week because Disney Parks Blog revealed the Costumes for the Cast Members that will be working in Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge!

Resistance and First Order Costumes

Disney Parks stated that in early stages of planning they knew the looks had to be unique and so a team of costumers, buyers and artists created dozens of styles for the land. Costume Designer Joe Kucharski was inspired by the films as well as the animated series to translate them into real world costumes. Certain risks were taken such as using innovative fabric to make the costumes as comfortable as possible for cast members to wear. Comfort and Durability were a priority according to the parks blog which i'm sure is a big sigh of relief to the opening team and tests were done to assure that the costumes would last a long time.
Shown above are the Resistance Costumes. They are described as Military style with soft, rugged, well used feel. Vest and Jackets have patch details that were inspired by communicators in films and includes an optional hat to protect from the heat. Also shown above are The First Order Costumes. They were described as Military style in a powerful charcoal grey color with structured shoulders as seen on film.
Last but not least we come to the Black Spire Outpost Villagers.

It is made up of multiple shirts, vests and jackets for tons of mix and match possibilities for cast members to choose from. Accessories are endless as well such as scarves, necklaces , pouches and hats.
