Starting March 1- April 23, The 2019 Food and Wine Festival at Disney California Adventure will take place and here's what you can look forward to during your visit!
There will be Culinary Demonstrations by talented chefs at Backlot Stage in Hollywoodland. Here you can watch and learn as they make yummy recipes and maybe get some tips along the way on how to create them at home!
Guests will be able to explore 14 different festival marketplaces that serve a wide variety of small plates, specialty wines and craft beers that were inspired by California grown ingredients. To get a preview of what you can chow down on, take a look at Disney's Foodie Guide.
If you're interested in hitting more than one marketplace, you may want to invest in the Sip and Savor pass. It will entitle you to eight select food or non alcoholic beverages from any marketplace, paradise garden grill and select food and beverage carts. The good thing is that they are available to all guests and can be spread out through multiple visits.
There are loads of exciting signature events that you can sign up for. There are returning favorites such as Sweet Sundays where you can learn how to make delectable pastries by actual pastry chefs. Or try some of the new events like Dinner with Disney Chefs and Winemaker Receptions .
There is tons of family fun being cooked up during the festival this year! Take kids ages 3-11 to "Jr. Chef" where they can get a hands on "cooking" experience that ends with a tasty surprise. And check out live performances like Jammin' Chefs who use pots, pans and percussions to entertain the crowds.
