This Past week, Disney Parks Blog has revealed lots of information regarding the highly anticipated Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge!
Here we will talk about probably one of the most important aspects of the land: The Food and Drinks.
Disney has revealed one of the many venues that will be located in the land and this one is called "Docking Bay 7 Food and Cargo."
A multi purpose shuttle docked on a hangar will be open to guests as a quick service restaurant. The site moves from place to place because the chef in charge, Chef Strono "Cookie" Tuggs has essentially turned it into a food truck that travels across the galaxy to serve delicious food to everyone. His travels allows him to pick up interesting ingredients and allows him to create unique dishes. Cookie's food shuttle lowered a series of pods into the hangar that carries his precious ingredients. The pods located in the Black Spire Outpost will allow guests to either eat indoors or outdoors in a shaded courtyard. Black Spire Outpost will also provide provisions, produce and more.
According to the Disney Parks Blog, the Food and Beverage Concept Development team has been hard at work from the very beginning to create out of this world dishes. Some favorites that were shared includes Ithorian Garden Loaf, A Plant Based Meatloaf that comes with Roasted Vegetable Mash, Seasoned Vegetables and Mushroom Sauce. They also showcased Smoked Kaadu Ribs that will come with a Blueberry Corn Muffin and Cabbage Slaw.
