Along with the debut of Epcot Forever, We also get to see the debut of The Epcot Experience.
Located in the Odyssey Events Pavilion, it gives guests and immersive look at the exciting changes coming to Epcot in the next few years. Personally for me, its reminiscent to how Walt would showcase upcoming attractions at Disneyland so I loved the concept. Walking inside you are surrounded 360 into a seamless, floor to ceiling screen that shows a 12 min continuous film about everything new coming to Epcot.
It also features a 3 dimensional model of Epcot in the center of the room that changes in time with the film you're surrounded by. This is achieved with projection mapping on the model. A special treat featured in the experience is a photo op where it appears that you are standing on top of Spaceship Earth, Historical artifacts on display and attractions posters throughout the park's history.
